Carnival activities take place in several villages all around Gozo. The main activities take place in Gozo’s capital Rabat also known as Victoria and in the quaint village of Nadur. In Rabat one can experience the main Carnival Parade and enjoy a show of colourful themed floats, big costumes and festival dancing. In Nadur, Carnival is also known as ‘Spontaneous Carnival’ and is celebrated in the evenings. The main attractions are people in disguise costumes. Carnival in Nadur is a very unique event that one must experience while visiting the beautiful island of Gozo.
