About Gozo

Gozo is a 12km by 7km island paradise which is approximately one third the size of Malta and is famous for being Malta’s quieter more rural sister island. Gozo’s landscape is rugged and unspoiled, comprising the traditional picturesque fishing villages, rolling green hills and valleys as well as small rocky and sandy beaches. In Gozo you will find tradition and culture encompassed within the warm hospitality of the Gozitan people – the friendliest in the Mediterranean. Gozo is tranquil yet in touch with the world, linked to the rest of the world by Malta’s International Airport, just a 20 minute ferry ride and short car journey away. Gozo has many modern amenities including clinics, banks, pharmacies, restaurants, bars and plenty more. Gozo is also popular for its splendid and plentiful dive sites, dotted all around the island and varying from cliff and cave dives to satisfy even the most experienced of divers.
